Now in its fourth year, [25]AZZ-IS REBEL.JAZZ.FEST brings live music, DJs, roller disco, art, food, and creative community back to the historic Venice Pavilion on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 12 PM to 6 PM.

Co-Presented by THE NONSEMBLE Creative Collective and the Venice Heritage Festival + Museum, the festival remains free and all-ages, celebrating Venice’s legacy of independent art, community spirit, and sonic rebellion.

Rooted in history — from Billie Harris’ AZZ IZZ club of the Venice, CA 1970s to the 1960 Rebel Jazz Festival at Cliff Walk Manor — the festival reclaims public space for creativity, inclusion, and joy.

“Every major metropolis - and most second cities - play host to at least one traditional ‘Jazz Fest’ every year. This… is not that,” says Jason Sugars, founder and creative director of THE NONSEMBLE and Board Director of the Venice Heritage Foundation + Museum. “It’s a continuum — a living lineage of the mid-century arts movement, post-modern energy, and collective culture - all at the edge one of the world's best-known beaches.”
